Legend of Heroes Trails of Destiny Launch Day!
We’re absolutely thrilled to have our Legend of Heroes: Trails of Destiny Tabletop RPG available! It’s been an incredibly long journey, and we’re so thankful to our community and the Nihon Falcom fans that have made this possible.
Legend of Heroes: Trails of Destiny brings the sweeping political intrigue and emotional storytelling of the Trails series to your gaming table. Drawing from the rich tapestry of nations, factions, and characters that have defined Falcom's beloved franchise, Trails of Destiny invites players to forge their own sagas in a world where every choice echoes across borders. Filled with official Falcom artwork and stunning original illustrations, the book delves deep into the lore of Zemuria, filled with never before categorized timelines, information, and lore.
Looking back on our journey, we all have a little something that really stands out to us. We wanted to share some Promethium Team Q&A with our community!
What do you feel is the best part about this game?
Brandon: I think the best part of the system is character creation. The vantage system lets you conceptualize where you're from and where you're going, the sheer number of options makes it feel like you're more than just a race and class combination.
Can you say more about character creation and customization?
Kain: I cannot think of any modern TTRPG that approaches the scope of character customizability and options in a single book that Trails of Destiny does. This tome is over 500 pages, and we've packed it with a truly massive amount of
Alex: We cannot wait to see what characters you all come up with! There’s a truly wild number of class combinations - one of our discord members estimated it was over a million!
What advice do you have for new players?
Alex: Take your time reading the options, or take a moment to think of what protagonist you’d love to play. Maybe both - I’m doing both! Also, our Discord has an LFG channel for folks that are falling into the void of real life schedule interference on playing a campaign.
Any other notes you’d like to share?
Kain: This was an amazing project that was only made possible with the help of amazing fans who love the Trails franchise as much as we do. Without a dedicated cohort of kiseki nuts playtesting, providing feedback, and breaking the system, I don’t think we could have ever launched this game.
What’s next on the horizon?
Alex: We’re working on getting Legend of Heroes: Trails of Destiny running on Foundry! Stay tuned for updates if you like a little digital dice management!
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Destiny book is currently available through our website, DriveThruRPG (an immediate Copper Best Seller!), Barnes and Noble, and Amazon (launch day #1 Best Seller!).
